Ceramics

Here are my wheel throwing pieces (first attempt) from their thrown state to their glazed state.

I threw the spout, handle, and tops as well.

We are currently doing a slab project right now but I want to keep throwing and making better pots.

Ash! Can I be you for a day?!? Haha! I know you’re driving back and forth a lot and you’ve got 100 things going at once! But these pots are beautiful!!! I have dreamt of trying pottery for a long time and I LOVE what you’ve done! These pots are so sweet–so perfectly shaped and various and colored. I love them! So much! Haha. How fun would it be to someday just take a studio class or something together?! Just for pure fun…no grades, no worries, lots of laughing at my kindergarten-level attempts, hehe. 😉

Rach- that would be soooo fun and I think we should do it! Thank you for your nice comments- these pots are by far from perfect, but I am happy with how they turned out. I am in the process of making more! So hopefully they come out better or at least just as good. The hardest part I am finding is actually the glazing!
